How To Create Clubhead Lag

How To Create Clubhead Lag

Creating maximum clubhead lag just doesn’t happen naturally, or by accident. In this video Bob Kramer shows us the correct sequencing to create more transitional lag and clubhead lag in your swing.

Bob starts off by talking about what club head lag is, and that the main issue golfers have with maintaining lag is they’re either losing it too early, or losing it too late.

There are two types of lag. Transitional lag in the beginning of the move, and then later on towards impact.

Watch the drill that Bob covers in this video to start putting more lag in your swing!

Weight Shift in the Downswing

Moving weight or pressure in the golf swing is key to hitting long, straight shots. Timing your weight shift properly allows you to deliver the club in the best way to get the maximum compression at impact.

In this video Adam demonstrates the correct weight shift in the downswing with a simple drill to help you practice.

Proper Hip Tilt in the Golf Swing

In this Tip Golf Pro Scott Hamilton talks about how to get the proper hip tilt and why it’s important for pureing your golf shots.

This element of the swing is something we in our PGA Tour players, but often see it lacking with many amateur golfers.

The great thing about it is it’s not a matter of physical ability, but rather adopting the right concepts to make it happen.
