Impact Position Downswing

If you can achieve a similar golf down swing & impact position to that of a golf professional, then you will really improve your golf ball striking, shot distance and accuracy. The key is to rotate well and deliver speed through your body in a specific sequence – but what does this actually mean and how do you do it? Here’s a really simple drill to work on to get you moving much better through impact.

Hands First – PGA Professional Robin Symes demonstrates a simple drill to provide the feeling of keeping your hands in front of the club head at impact.

It will help a lower ball flight, more solid impact, fixing early release and scooping.

Complete the Hands First at Impact drill a few times and then return to your normal address. Too many might cause you to keep the clubface open at impact.
