CHANGE YOUR CLUB PATH WITH THIS DRILL
This is one of my favorite drills to help with club path.
Exercise your wrist hinge and release
Take a look at this short video. It explains a few simple exercises you can do to increase club head speed.
First, you will need a long stick, broom handle or pipe that is about 5 to 6 feet long. If you are able to use a pipe that has some weight to it, that will help build some strength in the muscles you’ll be using in your swing.
Flatten Your Downswing “Water Bottle Tip”
Here’s another very simple indoor drill in my new series of videos entitled “Flatten Your Downswing”!
This easy-to-do drill will help train you to flatten your club shaft on your downswing — so that your clubhead can inevitably approach your golf ball from the inside of your target line — and not from the outside of your target line!
By practicing this drill, you’ll be hitting draws in no time!
30-60 Yard Wedge Shots (How To Really Spin It)
Milo shows how to hit a low, medium and high flight wedge shots that should stick close to the pin every time.
Arm Shallowing To Supination
In today’s video Tyler Ferrell helps connect the arm shallowing in transition to the “passive torque” in the release.
If you are working on laying down the shaft, or shallowing the club in transition then you need to make sure you are supporting it with a good release pattern that matches your transition goals.
SIMPLE TIP TO GET OUT OF BUNKERS
Bunkers have ruined the scorecards of many amateur golfers, either leaving the ball in, or over shooting the green through taking little or no sand.
In this video Chris Ryan shows you a simple technique that can help you get out of bunkers most times and ensure that your next shot is with the putter.
NEVER TOP YOUR FAIRWAY WOODS AGAIN
3 woods or fairway woods are often the most difficult clubs to use as they are the longest clubs that we play from the ground.
Correct Hip Sway in the Golf Swing
How golfers are more prone to hitting thin or fat shots by shifting or swaying their hips away from the target in the backswing.
Nick Clearwater VP of instruction at GOLFTEC explains how most pro golfers actually move their hips slightly towards the target in the backswing which helps influence great golf shots.
