I enjoy playing top-tier golf courses on special occasions with friends and family, but I can not afford to play them on a regular basis. So, I am always on the lookout for mid-range golf courses that are well maintained and priced moderately. I recently came across a discount golf card that will allow you to play more golf for less money.

The Golf Card The Golf Card is a discount golf card that offers free or discounted green fees to over 3,400 golf courses through the United States. And this is just one of many benefits that I learned about when I researched this product.

Are the member golf courses any good? I can not answer this question for you, but I can share my observations looking online at courses that are part of the program in my area. I was pleased to find that two of my mid-range golf courses are part of the program – one offers a 2 for 1 deal on green fees and the other offers 20% off each round. Another benefit for me is that I will be able to use it when I travel for work or pleasure. If you would like to find out what local courses in your area honor the Golf Card, simply go to their web site and use their handy search tool.

Who would benefit from the Golf Card? In short, golfers of all ages in the United States would benefit from having a membership. It is also a good value for anyone who likes to play golf when they are traveling for work or pleasure. I especially think of the thousands of snowbirds who travel south for the winter and play golf.

Any drawbacks? I live in the Pacific Northwest and I would like to see more courses on their list. That said, they have a very robust list of partner courses up and down the east coast, mid west, and south.
