Golfing With Flat Feet

[ad_1]

A lot of people needlessly suffer because they have flat feet. They either do not realize that they have the condition, or they simply do not know that there are shoes designed for people who overpronate. Overpronation can make, to say the least, playing sports difficult. In golf, it is apparent that having flat feet has a huge effect on a golfers game. Not only will a golfer with flat feet play worse, they will be in pain throughout the game, and even after they are done playing.

There is not a shoe designed for flat footed golfers, but luckily there are some options. The Adidas 9.5 is one such shoe that golfers can wear to gain comfort. The Adidas 9.5 costs around 70 dollars and is certainly a terrific deal for anyone who wants to end the suffering. Adidas makes a lot of good shoes, and the 9.5 is no exception.

If you have a pair of shoes that you enjoy, but want more, look at getting insoles. Insoles for flat feet can help the golfer play without pain while enjoying their preferred shoe. Do not buy the cheapest insoles that you can find, there are some good brands that cost a little bit more. If you can, look for insoles designed for flat feet. A good insole has a design that takes the shape of the foot, making it much more comfortable for you.

If you do not know if you have the condition, there is an easy test. Basically, you would put your foot in water, then step onto a piece of paper. After that, you would look at the piece of paper, and see the outline of your foot on the paper. If your foot shows completely, and there is no arch, you probably have flat feet. Though, if you are unsure, it would be best to see a medical doctor for the condition.

Besides changing shoes, there are other things one can do to alleviate flat foot pain. There are exercises that can help you change the shape of your foot. These exercises can help you get the arch back into your foot. Yoga can also help; there are specific poses you can do to help alleviate the pain. Finally, in the worst case scenario, you can get surgery to your feet. Though, this option is costly and should be used as a last resort.
