Three Golf Grip Tips to Improve Your Swing

There are many free golf tips out there. However, one of the simplest parts of the golf swing, your grip, is also one that causes many problems. Here are five golf grip instructions that will improve your swing.
Do a "V" Check and Watch that Right Hand
The most common cause of a slice is in beginners is grip. One of the simplest golf grip tips out there is the "V" check on address. When you look down at the ball during address, check to see if you can see the first two knuckles on your left hand along with a "V" between your forefinger and thumb that points to your shoulder. Although you are taught that you should have a solid right side for a strong shot, your grip is not included in that. The temptation is to grip tighter with that right hand to make a strong swing, but do not. One of the simplest golf grip tips is to check yourself by imagining your grip being on a scale of 1-10 in terms of muscle tension. Then, just make sure your right hand is around or 6 or 7 on that scale.
Putt Cross Handed
It is easy to let your wrists break on a putting stroke. To avoid that little problem, take this golf grip tip: hold the club crosshanded. Simple put your right hand where the left would normally be and vice versa.
Check Off Against the Clubhead and then Easy Does It
To hit the ball farther, your grip needs to be fairly light with both hands. Using the golf grip tip from before, and thinking of a scale from 1-10, use a 5 or a 6 as your overall grip. You will gain distance because loose muscles are fast muscles. Finally, one of the most useful golf grip tips is to check it against the golf club head. It may sound simple, but make sure that before address, you make sure the alignment of your grip is in line with the club face. Sounds easy, but most do not do it.
There are five tips for your grip. Grip is important, so get it right and you will be surprised how much you can cut down on slices and increase distance.

How to Develop a Golf Routine at Your Fitness Facility

When you want to maximize your performance on the green, you will soon see that there are many different options available to you. Primarily the most crucial thing that you can do to elevate your golf game though, is to begin exercising and conditioning your body. To obtain the most optimal performance while you are out on the course, start putting some time in at the gym. It can be a little confusing as to what you need to develop, but you will soon realize that through discipline and routine, you will be recalling what areas of your body you need to concentrate on, and you will have an effective workout set up in no time flat!
Up first is the back. Your back contributions to the posture that you absorb when you are on the golf course, and when you are in your local gym, proceed directly to the enclosed row. Sit up tall and straight, and as your shoulders are kept back, you should bring the handles directly towards your chest. One way to modify this exercise is to pull with only one hand, if the machine allows you to do so. Do not forget to stretch first and to squeeze your stomach muscles to get the best results out of the exercises that you are doing.
Also remember that as you work the back, you should also work the abdominal muscles. Your abdominal muscles support your back muscles, making up your center core, and they work together to bring your body to a point where you can complete a full golf swing. Carefully contemplate what your options are going to be when it comes to strengthening your abdominal muscles; a number of golfers see results with the many ab machines available, especially those that offer different positions to cover each middle section.
If you are a golfer, of course you are going to need to work on your arms. This will greatly assist as you bring your club forward much more quickly and you will have better control over ball placement. Regardless of whether you belong to a gym, consider getting a flat bench and some dumbbells. While you are on the bench, bring each dumbbell up slowly and perform sets of dumbbell curls. Do not forget that you keep your back straight as you perform this exercise, and go for a weight that you can lift twelve to twenty times. The reason for lighter weights and more reps is you are merely toning up your arms for lean strength, not developing for a bodybuilding competition. A solid golf swing starts with the legs and they also support you with the powerful platform that your swing starts from. While running and jogging are great for both legs and stamina, don not forget to consider the weight machines that will provide you with the ability to straighten your leg against a weight. Look for machines that will give you ability to sit down and then to extend your legs away from your body and then back up to your chest. A seated squat machine is a fantastic option at the gym or you can do standing squats in your own home, both can be very effective to creating a strong base and place.
The bottom line is that you should just head to the gym when you want to bring your golf game to the next level. This can lead to a great improvement in the way that your golf game goes, as well as your over all health and fitness.
