Golf Chippers Help Make the Shot

When you have a difficult shot to make on the course, golf chippers can help you achieve success. This is especially true if your short shots on the green tend to be your most challenging. Instead of using a traditional wedge, these clubs can be the better choice and the answer to obtaining a lower score. They help you make delicate strokes that get your ball in or near the cup. By practicing ahead of time and becoming well acquainted with each club’s ability to do its job, you’ll improve both your long and short games on the course.
What Happens
If you are close to the green but not quite there, you might panic. Maybe you don’t have confidence in your short game and aren’t sure which club to use. In the past, you might have chosen a club with too much power. Too much power can cause you to overshoot, add strokes to your score, and end up with a number that’s way over par. Golf chippers are different; they are the perfect tool for this situation. They easily tap the ball and nudge it toward the hole.
Your Swing
Place the ball near your right foot. Angle your golf chipper’s shaft in your hands so that it’s correctly positioned. Now it’s time to sweep the club around and send the ball toward its goal. Remember not to swing too high; keep your club fairly close to the ground at all times. This should send that little white sphere across the green and into or near the hole.
Putter Time
If you’re close to your goal, it’s time to use your putter to finish the job. It’s wise to practice putting before ever arriving at the course, as this is one of the trickier shots of the game. Some golfers like to think of themselves as swinging like a pendulum. That’s right, an even movement from one side to the other. This is where the practice comes in handy; if you do this over and over again, your body will remember it when you’re standing on the green at your local course.
With the right clubs, the right movements, and plenty of practice, you can be celebrating at the nineteenth hole with all the other successful golfers. It’s all about body mechanics, understanding the aerodynamics of balls in flight, understanding the contact and power of each club, and maintaining a confident attitude. The more you practice, the more comfortable you’ll feel playing each round on your favorite manicured, green course. Whether you like to play nine holes or eighteen, golf chippers can help you shave points off your game and achieve success.

Improve Your Golf Game And Leave Thought Out Of It

Are you running through a countless stream of instructions while playing a round of golf? Are you instructing yourself during your golf swing, ultimately reciting golf tip after golf tip? And, is this inner dialogue getting in the way of actually playing better golf, getting in the way of your enjoyment of the game?
Here is something very simple that I figured out that helped me become a better golfer and added to my enjoyment of the game while on the course: move away from active thought and instead occupy your mind with the appropriate images when necessary.
When I was learning to play golf, I had an instructor who took me out to practice with this advice: "I'm not going to tell you a thing," he said. "I just want you to watch me. Watch carefully everything I do.
What he was doing was showing me the correct golf swing, instead of endlessly giving me instructions. It was a valuable lesson.
He told me afterwards, "Whenever you are tempted to give yourself inner verbal instruction, I want you to think back on the images of my swing. Just see it.
Have you ever seen a golfer frustrated on the course? Is this inner dialogue apparent? Chances are you know firsthand about all this.
Here is a simple golf tip to avoid too much instruction during your golf swing:
Think about the shot in front of you before your swing. Think of everything you have to do, the club you're going to use, all mechanical questions, your approach, all of it.
Now, stand away from your ball and go through your routine. In this routine produce the results you want to achieve. Be aware of your club and how it moves in your hands as you take your practice swings. Be aware of the movement of your body into the golf ball. Do this until you 'feel' it is right, and that swing has been programmed correctly into your brain.
When your swing has been properly programmed imagine your shot in your mind, executed flawlessly, perfect.
Afterwards, take a full deep breath, exhaling through the mouth, and address your golf ball and execute your swing, leaving thought behind.
Trust yourself enough to play, knowing that you've given yourself ample instruction and it is time to now leave thought and all of its inner verbiage.
