There is nothing better than barbequing after a golf game! Get your golf buddies and their wives or girlfriends to meet up at the house. After being outdoors playing golf it seems only fitting to stay outdoors and party with a barbeque that is more than up-to-par.

It’s time to start celebrating and what better way than with food and wine. Like most guys, I love to do the grilling thing and my wife loves it when I get to do the cooking. My cooking skills are not that great in the kitchen, however, get me in front of the grill and I become a master chef.

Could be the caveman syndrome something to do with an open fire flame? Getting the barbeque out is like making instant food, put it on the grill, cook and serve. The secret to this is to keep things simple.

Start with fresh seasonal ingredients including produce and meat; I try to use local ingredients grown in our area. Now I either choose to cook slowly at a low heat or fast super red hot grilling. Using slow grilling enables me to use using my special secret rub recipes to get the deep flavor. The grilling with high heat results in searing and charring.

Golf and barbeque are about sharing. Yes, you can play golf alone or barbeque by yourself but it’s a lot more fun to do it with others, people who are important in your life. There is nothing better than barbequing after golf game.

The Masters is one of the most prestigious golf tournaments in the world. During the first week in April in Augusta, Georgia, some of the best golfers of the world unite and play for the ultimate title. This tournament showcases some amazing ability and strategy when it comes to the game of golf. While you may never make it all the way to The Masters, you can still play like you were there. With a few simple improvements to your golf swing and some practice and dedication, you can be playing like the pros do and having fun while doing it.

Of course, putting in plenty of practice time is important. However, if you want to get a golf swing good enough to get you playing like the pros at the Masters, it is a good idea to consider taking a few lessons. You need not commit to endless hours of golf education in order to see a vast improvement. Just a few short lessons will help you pinpoint problems with your swing and will show you slight changes that you can make. These adjustments are usually fairly simple to incorporate and will have you swinging like a pro in no time!

However, other than professional lessons, there are also plenty of things you can do on your own time in order to get a golf swing worthy of playing at the Masters. One of the most important parts on the swing to focus on is the backswing. Although many people only see it as a "wind-up" of sorts, it is actually one of the most crucial parts of your swing. It sets you up for the all important contact and follow-through and, therefore, without paying the proper attention to your backswing, you will need to implement an awful lot of correction in order to have a successful shot.

Once you have set yourself up for success, you will want to then concentrate your efforts on the follow-through. By holding your position well after you make contact with the ball and then making sure to look and face your body in the direction where you want the ball to go, you will greatly improve your golf game. Even when you have done everything else right, the follow-through is what will absolutely deliver the results that you are after. With just a bit of practice in using the proper technique, your golf swing will soon be on par with those of the pros playing at the Masters.
