Ball then Ground Drill

One of the biggest keys to playing great golf is to make ball then ground contact every time. The majority of these poor contact issues are the result of a misunderstanding of what the club and thus the body must do to launch the ball in the air. In this video I explain what you must do with your body and club to ensure you make ball then ground contact every time with your fairway shots. I also share a simple drill that you can use to help you better learn and feel this move and thus make it easier to transfer the motion to the golf course.
