Looking at your right hand and how you use it to keep the clubface square through impact will help you hit the ball straight constantly.

In your backswing, the club face should be parallel to your spine angle, and at a 90 degree angle to your swing arc. This is not “closed” or “shut.”

The club face shouldn’t twist. This is where people get into trouble hitting pull hooks.

Here with our friend Alistair Davies to share some simple golf tips on how to use the lower body in the downswing. Which in turn gets you to use the ground correctly to give natural power not matter your age.

When you focus on natural techniques for your golf swing, the whole process becomes a lot easier and simpler. It also gives you a golf swing that has more power and consistency! Pretty good right! With the one arm pause drill, it forces you to use your instincts better.

This is key to better golf, more consistent golf shots that are accurate and powerful. So try this simple golf tip golf swing is key to power and consistency and the best PGA tour players and LPGA tour players all do it well. And with some simple golf swing drills and understanding of technique, you can too do is try basically hit the ball almost as far as you can just go ahead and hit it just swing now swing down.

So, what I’d want you to do is talk to us and feel and reflect on whether you feel what you do to initiate that downswing what do you do? I did with the lower body it’s up to you can meet with more than one minder for the first trying to pull the hands like let the hands drop a little bit.

What tends to happen is people have three distinct things they think right this is from years of doing this one the feel like the left hip pulls out they way up one they feel the right leg kind of pushes down and pushes off.

The key thing also with the drill is when you’re in that top of the backswing position is we don’t up to come down we have to feel how do we fire what do we use to initiate the power to propel the ball.

Imagine the ground acting as a springboard during the golf swing. This will help you develop and understand how you generate power. Think of jumping up off the ground from a static position.

To do this you need to push down to be able to spring back up and leave the ground. Think of a high jumper or longer jumper or discus thrower. They’re creating leverage with the ground to be able to perform their desired action with power.

Extension is your key to power and consistency!

When you have the extension correct in your golf swing especially through the ball you need to apply some simple golf principles and Alex Fortey of the art of simple golf with Alistair Davies.

One of the UK’s top golf performance coaches. Having good golf swing extension is key to better golf, more consistent golf shots that are accurate and powerful.

Pretty much every golfer out there makes this simple golf mistake but when you do hit the golf ball and that’s trying to keep the head down through the ball it will make a huge difference to your golf shots instantly.

Good extension with the golf swing will also promote a wider golf swing arc. This leads to more power and distance and better contact with the golf ball.

Keeping the arms straight through the takeaway, impact area, and beginning of the follow through will keep your golf swing extension nice and maintain a good swing arc.

The club should stay wide in the golf swing so you have a good swing arc. Swing width in the golf swing is very, very important for hitting solid, consistent golf shots.

Many amateurs golfers struggle because they lose their swing width or their golf swing arc. So try this simple golf tip golf swing is key to power and consistency.

The best PGA tour players and LPGA tour players all do it well. And with some simple golf swing drills and understanding of technique, you can too.

GOLF PSYCHOLOGY is not just about managing your mind it is also about having a common sense approach to the game. That is why golf psychology is becoming a very important topic these days. This is what the mental game is all about.

Golf

Golf happens in the mind, and it’s not just a matter of good or bad thoughts, because there is a crucial time period in every shot when ANY thought will ruin your game. Golf is about managing your mind and your expectations. When a professional golfer is under pressure, the last thing he can afford is a shred of doubt in his mind. Doubt ruins the golf shot because doubt is a conscious thought and ANY conscious thought good or bad is your enemy when it comes to movement, or the swing portion of the golf shot.

Tiger Woods is a perfect example of the importance of the mind in golf. He has the ability to not think of anything during the swing. Unconscious sabotage (in golf psychology), is caused by the mind sending negative ‘signals’ for the body to follow during the swing on particular shots. Your own unique brand of golf psychology will permit you to gain a clear path between your unconscious mind and your physical game.

Training

Listening to “Motivational and training material” EVERYDAY is one of the ways to improve your golf psychology. The reason you don’t hear many successful golfers talk about their mental training is because they know how powerful it is. The main thing to know is that mental training and golf psychology is a secret weapon which can transform your results very quickly, and overcome problems which you may have been experiencing for years.

Online

Online golf instruction is becoming a popular search for the new golf enthusiasts who may not be interested in much more than improving their game. Of course, with the plethora of e books and online texts out there that claim to teach you the various methods involved, no doubt you’re a little overwhelmed. There are a wide variety of golf guides online and there should be no difficulty finding one, however, you need one to include the finer points of golf psychology.

Conclusion

Golf psychology is the mental aspect to golf which most players overlook in their quest to improve. For me, golf is about being prepared and ready on the course and automatically doing the right things using the power of your unconscious.

Here are a few recommendations to get your brain in the game!
