Exercise your wrist hinge and release

Take a look at this short video. It explains a few simple exercises you can do to increase club head speed.

First, you will need a long stick, broom handle or pipe that is about 5 to 6 feet long. If you are able to use a pipe that has some weight to it, that will help build some strength in the muscles you’ll be using in your swing.

Flatten Your Downswing “Water Bottle Tip”

Here’s another very simple indoor drill in my new series of videos entitled “Flatten Your Downswing”!

This easy-to-do drill will help train you to flatten your club shaft on your downswing — so that your clubhead can inevitably approach your golf ball from the inside of your target line — and not from the outside of your target line!

By practicing this drill, you’ll be hitting draws in no time!

Arm Shallowing To Supination

In today’s video Tyler Ferrell helps connect the arm shallowing in transition to the “passive torque” in the release.

If you are working on laying down the shaft, or shallowing the club in transition then you need to make sure you are supporting it with a good release pattern that matches your transition goals.
