CORRECT FOOTWORK & PRESSURE SHIFT TO START DOWNSWING

Starting your downswing with the correct footwork and therefore correct pressure shift from your trail foot to your lead foot (right foot to left foot for right handed golfers) will allow you to create a chain reaction of movement through your body, so that you can deliver the head of the club back to the ball with maximum speed, to produce maximum shot distance.

Here’s a really easy feedback drill that you can work on to help you achieve the correct pressure shift in your feet at the correct time during your downswing.
